Doing Things Wright

In any community there is always one person or a small group of people who give of themselves far above all others. Such is the case at United Methodist Communities at The Wesleyan with resident Diane Wright, one of several volunteers. She always gives time to help with kitchen tasks, from brewing staff morning coffee to distributing bread on Mondays and setting up the coffee station with pastries in her Red Bank senior housing community.

Diane’s green thumb and hard work in our newly-built, raised-bed garden have reaped ample cherry tomatoes and basil for The Wesleyan’s pasta nights. Given the business and heavy use of the community room and kitchen, its maintenance is monumental. However, like the head of a well-run household, she is constantly making sure the shared kitchen is spic and span and checks supplies so they never run low

Her generosity includes assisting with events, activities and giving fellow residents local rides. Special volunteers like Diane are hard to come by and we feel greatly blessed to have her at The Wesleyan.
