UMC has begun planning for The Road Forward, which is our path to reopening our communities. Each stage, assigned a color code, is based on specific milestones, from red (most restrictive), to orange, to yellow, and finally to green (least restrictive).
A task force is currently focusing on various aspects of community life; resident movement and visitation, dining, sales, staffing, environment, new construction, and communication. Team leaders, assigned to specific areas, meet virtually to figure out how to navigate through the four stages. Their recommendations will be compiled this week and next steps assigned.
